What is a Proofreader?
A proofreader is the last stop before you publish your work and happens at the very end of the editorial process. It is the act of reading written work and marking any errors found. These errors include spelling, grammar, punctuation, and consistency (format, spacing, etc.). This is not the same as editing. At this stage the author has written the content as she/he would like.

Why hire me as your Proofreader?
Have you had reviews based more on the typos found as opposed to the content of your story? It can be extremely frustrating after you have put in all of that hard work. As an avid reader myself, a manuscript riddled with typos, grammatical errors, or inconsistencies can detract from the story you, the author, is trying to tell. It is important to me for your work to shine and your readers to immerse themselves in your story. With a strong work ethic and sharp eye for detail, you can rest assured your written pride and joy is in safe hands. Your work will receive the care and attention it deserves. Together, we will make your manuscript the center of attention.
